NH BELMONT — Belmont Planning Board extended Mountain Lake Village's 18-lot subdivision to August 2026 and approved a site plan amendment allowing Matthew T. Gault to replace two bays with a 50-by-80-foot steel building at 682 Laconia Road. Vice Chairman Ward Peterson and member Mike LeClair drove two of the board's four conditional approvals voted unanimously.

The board also approved a boundary line adjustment for Richard and Barbara Binette and continued the Tammy Allard six-lot subdivision to September 22. All departmental reviews returned no concerns for the Gault project, though the Conservation Commission flagged a Priority Resource Area bog located downslope from the proposed structure. Town Planner Karen Santoro flagged upcoming zoning changes to permit manufactured housing in the Village, Residential Multi, and Residential Single zones.
