misc · Meeting of August 5, 2026

NH BELMONT — Belmont Planning Board approves four development applications while continuing review of a 36-unit housing project. The Board unanimously granted final conditional approval to IDH Realty, LLC for a contractor's yard at 121 Laconia Road and Parent Sand and Gravel for a storage facility at 98 Wareing Road. Two boundary line adjustments for Mark and Janet St.

Germain on Hurricane Road and Dawn and Steven Padfield on Wakeman Road also passed unanimously. The Board continued review of Belmont Landing, LLC's application to convert 36 residential units at 171 Daniel Webster Highway to August 24, pending a third-party parking study. Town Planner Karen Santoro raised concerns that the property requires 125 spaces for existing tenants but only has 96 available, while State Rep.

Lisa Freeman backed the project as addressing the state's housing shortage.
