NH BELMONT — Belmont Planning Board approves machine shop and veterinary boarding facility. The Planning Board voted final conditional approval for a 10,200-square-foot industrial machine shop at Eastgate Park Road after unanimously granting five waivers for environmental surveys and stormwater management on previously developed land; applicants Peter Howard and Dave Sanborn noted the project decreases impervious surface. Trish Beauchesne won approval for a veterinary clinic and canine boarding facility capped at 25 dogs, operating 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mountain Made Materials passed its five-year earth excavation permit compliance review with well monitoring maintained and no blasting since 2023. Two applications were continued to July 27: Parent Sand and Gravel's contractor's yard faces a 35-foot wetland setback conflict requiring Zoning Board relief or a state permit.
